Please keep my family in your prayers

I haven't blogged much this week because on Tuesday, my husband wanted to give me a Christmas surprise.  He went to hang the Chrismas lights on the roof and in the process, fell off, landed on the deck and broke his back.  He is doing well, home from the hospital, and walking.  He'll be having a long recovery, but no surgery.

It's amazing to see how family & friends rally up beside you when tough times hit.  What an encouragement!

What a blessing that his fall was not more serious! Many people have become paralyzed(sp?)or killed from a fall like that. I'm glad you have friends and family near you for support...another blessing. I pray God will hold you all close throughout this trial and years from now you will look back on it and have fond memories of the time you all survived and were blessed in countless little ways.
